On January 15, 2026, the 78th Army Day Parade in Jaipur featured a historic performance by the Birla Balika Vidyapeeth (Pilani) band. Led by Senior Under Officer Ayushi Jain, the 41-member all-girls contingent showcased extraordinary discipline, mastering 60 distinct tunes to march alongside elite military units.

The band saluted a distinguished gathering, including Chief Guest General V.K. Singh (Mizoram Governor), Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde, CM Bhajanlal Sharma, and CDS General Anil Chauhan.

The parade reached a deeply symbolic crescendo as the girls marched along with Param Vir Chakra, Maha Vir Chakra and Ashok Chakra awardees. Their presence alongside these decorated heroes served as a powerful tribute to the nation’s valor and perfectly embodied the spirit of BBV—an institution dedicated to nurturing the girl child and giving her the Wings to Fly.
