WELCOME ADDRESS BY PRINCIPAL DR. M. KASTURI
Birla Balika Vidyapeeth is proud to organize the International Art Meet as an annual feature every year. It is our seventh International Art Meet meeting. Today we are proud to have 8 artists from various countries to represent this great event.
On this occasion, I take the privilege to welcome our guests and introduce the International Artists to the audience;
Ms. Ana Golovic is a Serbian artist , lives and works in Thailand. She is specialized in oil canvas paintings and also interested and works with photography, art installations and restorations in architecture. She exhibited at many solo and group exhibitions in Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, France, Japan, Thailand, China, and UAE,
Ms. Claudia Lazar is from Romania. She is visual arts expert & project manager in Romanian Cultural Institute. She has conducted several symposiums and art workshops in many countries like Canada, France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Vietnam, Switzerland and USA,
Ms. Erika Petunovienë is from Lithuania. She has a Master's Degree in Art and Technology. She has been granted with the Status of Artist by the Ministry of Culture in 2020 and Member of the Union of Lithuanian artists in 2022 . She has organized around 20 Solo exhibitions and participated in over 40 group exhibitions and art symposiums organized at Lithuania, Italy, Korea, USA, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Austria etc
Mr. Gytis Oržikauskasis, also from Lithuania is a former architect and urban planner with Master’s Degree in Architectural - Art History and Theory. He has successfully completed his theory part of his doctoral studies in art and is currently working on his PhD thesis.
Dr. Morakot Ketklao is from Thailand. She has PhD in Education Technology and Communication. She has been a guest artist for many art workshops and has won many prizes.
Ms. Nada Itani is from Lebanon. She is owner of art gallery in the area of Rawshe in Beirut. She is Bachelors of Art in Fine Arts, and Masters of Art in Art Painting. Member of UNICEF, Member of the International Center of Arts Lebanon & Iraq and Member of the Association of Lebanese Artists Professionals. She has been Participating in international and local exhibitions since 1975 in India, China, Europe, Thailand, and Africa. She has done solo shows in Cyprus, Turkey, Lebanon, and UAE.
