ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP(DAY MODEL)

A three-day Annual Training Camp(Day Model) for NCC cadets commenced at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani on 22nd February 2021. Twenty two enthusiastic girl cadets are participating in the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by the Camp Commandant Col Arun Nayyar. He called upon the cadets to participate wholeheartedly and to get benefited from each activity in the camp. Principal Dr M. Kasturi motivated the cadets to participate in the camp with full zeal and enthusiasm. She further expressed that the main purpose of the camp is to bring positive change in cadets and imbibe a culture of hard work & dedication.

On day two, NCC cadets performed band display. Their performance was highly appreciated by the Camp Commandant Colonel Arun Nayyar, Adam Officer Lt Col Anurag Gangwar and the Principal Dr. M. Kasturi.

On the third day cadets honed their shooting skills as shooting is one of the most important training in NCC. In shooting competition cadet Peddi Jayati bagged first position, cadet Saujanya Saha got second position and SUO Charu Surana was on the third position.

SUO Charu Surana received DG Commendation Card from the Camp Commandant Col Arun Nayyar.

Cadets followed safety protocols at the camp, like maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.

Training is imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as drill, weapon training, map reading, self defence, military history, field craft and battle craft. The given training lived up to the expectations of NCC that grooms the youth to be worthy citizens and future leaders of a nation and further it instills in cadets discipline, courage and patriotism. .
