Gauri Nandwana emerges as Winner of the Young Scientist India Competition 2023
On 2nd of May, 2023, two students of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Gauri Nandwana and Arya Balodia of class 12th participated in the young scientist India contest, organized by Space Kidz India. After three meticulous rounds, 100 out of 3000 students were shortlisted for the grand finale. Arya Balodia participated in the app development category with her idea on skin cancer detection and Gauri Nandwana with her innovative project on smart safety, progressed on to the final level.
As a memorable conclusion to this wonderful event, Gauri Nandwana stood first as the overall winner and was awarded the seed fund of Rs. 50,000 by Srimathi kesan, CEO Space Kidz India and Maj. Gen. M. Indrabala. It was truly a momentous event with beautiful memories to cherish. It was a golden opportunity for the young learns as the competition comprised a plethora of innovative and advanced project ideas by teenagers form all over the country.
The students extended their sincere gratitude to the principal, Dr. M. Kasturi for bringing forth her visionary leadership yet again by giving the students this once in a lifetime opportunity which will no doubt broaden their thinking and enhance their acquaintance with the scientific world.
