On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Birla Balika Vidya Peeth, Pilani organized the "Cleanliness Drive" as part of the "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign on October 1, 2023. The Principal, Dr. M. Kasturi, commended the active participation of students and teachers in promoting the messages of cleanliness in society.
The school implemented the campaign through "Shramdaan" activities, turning it into a meaningful public movement. As part of the initiative, a "One Date, One Hour, One Together" cleanliness drive was organized at 10:00 AM on October 1, 2023, encompassing the school premises, Vidya Vihar campus, Sharada Peeth Temple, and the area around Gandhi's statue, creating a clean environment. The school's NCC cadets, guides, and other students diligently cleaned the designated areas and spread the message of "Cleanliness is Service" by affixing bills. The school's cleanliness van was used to dispose off the waste appropriately.
The enthusiasm of the students was commendable. Principal Dr. M. Kasturi acknowledged the importance of cleanliness and collective efforts in her address, praising the endeavors of both students and teachers.
